TOOLS Europe 2000 - Workshop

A visual patterns workshop was also held at TOOLS Europe 2000, St. Malo, France, June 5-8, 2000.

The Patterns of Visual Programming workshop was held on the afternoon of Wednesday June 7th. The Presentation can be dowloaded using the following link:

Dave Parsons

Currently a Senior Lecturer in the Institute of Information and Mathematical Sciences, Massey University, Auckland, New Zealand. He has been teaching and writing about object technology since 1991, and has published student-oriented textbooks on C++ and Java. He gained his Ph.D. for work on an extensible object oriented architecture for a graphical electronic circuit design system. His conference activities have included presentations at Object Technology, TOOLS and ECOOP conferences. Outside academia he has worked as a consultant and trainer for The Object People, BEA Systems and Valtech.

Mark Cranshaw

Works at Southampton Institute where his main interest lies in the development and delivery of object oriented software development courses to computing undergraduates. He has co-presented with Dave Parsons at OT and TOOLS conferences
