The first edition of 'Object-Oriented Programming with C++' was published in 1994 by
DP Publications.
The book was also published by BPB publications in New Delhi, India. It was exactly the
same as the U.K. edition, except for the cover, which was luminous enough to light a small
town, and the paper, which was of a higher quality. Rather than the woodpulp brown of the
U.K. edition, the paper had a hint of a delicate shade of pink. It sold for 99 rupees, of
which I think I received 1 rupee in royalties. I don't know exactly what the exchange rate
is, but one rupee is not very much!
